HIFX Raises over £3,000 for the Motor
Neurone Disease Association
HIFX
PLC, the Windsor based foreign exchange specialist has raised
£3,070 through a raffle in support of the Motor Neurone Disease
Association. Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly
progressive, neurological condition that robs people of the
ability to speak and move their muscles. In the UK around 5,000
people have the disease which can affect any adult at anytime.
At present there is no cure. The MND Association funds vital
research and provides a range of support services across the UK,
in the hope that one day this terrible disease can be
eradicated.
Laurence Butcher, Managing Director of
HIFX comments: ““We are proud to be supporting the Motor Neurone
Disease Association and delighted that these funds will go
towards continuing to raise awareness of the disease and provide
high quality care and support services for local families
affected by MND.”
Coral Smith, Branch Chairman at the North
East Hants Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association says:
“We very much appreciate the hard work that goes into raising
this money, which will be used to support local families living
with Motor Neurone Disease. Thank you and your colleagues for
your generosity and continued support. ”
